Dark Edson Tiger

The Edson tiger was first tied in 1928 by Bill Edson. Trout flies tied by Edson were famous because of the metal eye he placed instead of a jungle cock feather.  After he had replaced the jungle cock on his trout fly streamers they started to fish more and was known as a killer fly pattern.  Main reason was that it added extra weight to the fly so fishermen could fish deeper.
